since all I did was finish up packing up gifts and the car and clean house but I wanted to share a couple things

how the Pittsburgh Neighborhoods got their names. (okay this one is for me)

Thought I was going to have to go to the ER tonight. Every bit of food was like eating ground glass. Then I remembered I couldn't find my prilosec (I had put it in the bag of groceries I was taking back to PA so I didn't empty the bag). I've been sans meds for 24 hours. The pain is incredible. Took my doses and some extra and still the pain is bad. At least I can breathe now though.

Still have nothing but buzzing flies in my brain for my Weird West story and I CAN NOT miss out on that one. I was asked to do it. I simply can't. All I know is I have a Navajo second in command on an airship and a Jewish doctor probably in Tombstone in an Alt history world where Tecumesh managed to unite the native peoples. And that's it. I need a plot. whimpers.

The SF one that is an open call, of course, is offering up stuff, like one of them, tentatively named Desros (Dysros? Dyyros?) is a humanoid alien, gentle priest type being transported to a conference by Star Fleet a paramilitary type of United Planets force and the guy in charge of him is a modified human originally suited up to do hard labor underwater. I figure someone is trying to stop the conference and tries to shoot them down or some crap. It is a short story. Reminder to self SHORT STORY.

Like I said, I know there's an air ship and a doctor. I figure out how they intersect (i.e. a battle leaving some of them injured including their usual doc) but what happens next.....

I can't remember, did you say Geronimo is coming into play in this (or one of the other greats as a threat?).

H/C is always good. Perhaps during the battle they're separated from everyone and have to hide out in a cave for n amount of time.
