I wanted to write today. Instead I'm doing battle with a damn new chromebook. Can anyone tell me if I can put libre office on a Chrome OS without it being a problem? Upgrades from it are twice the damn price and I don't want to spend that much.

Still haven't written my stocking shit. Sigh.

Jana's last news of the year can be found here

Biggest news is I did send in that shifter story. I'm glad. Thanks for the help!

Jana's writing goals for 2016 are above.

As for me, mine are simple but I fail at them every time. A) polish Splinters of Silver & Cold Iron and find an agent B) finish Beneath a Torn Sky (maybe as April's camp Nano) C) if possible revamp poor Machiavelli Moon & D) start on the sequel to Splinters. I would like it to be this year's nano

Tonight I had the worst 30$ pizza from Chicago. Prejudice Girl gave them to my parents. NONE of us liked it.I wouldn't pay 30$ for a good pizza let alone a tiny tasteless deep dish.

Good luck with your writing goals. They seem managable!

Ew to yucky pizza. Mom and I bought one to make and it had no flavor and the dough was like cardboard. We made two pizzas - what a waste. I'd rather have Chef Boyardee than that stuff.

they SHOULD be if I quit dicking around

Same here with the Chef Boyardee. I think they were Lou Maltani or something like that. Horrible. Flown in in dry ice likethey were gold.

I like Chef Boyardee. They're generally tasty.

We had that Christmas Eve and I think I've convinced the fam to not go to a Chinese buffet again in the foreseeable future, unless it's the one at Yen Chang's (very good Asian food that wins all sorts of awards. The buffet is a brunch favorite in the area).

Plus, only offered on Sunday. No other day of the week.

Yeah I didn't know what it was when I got desperate for food. Buffets in general don't impress me. I am very pickyabout it (I like the casino)

I've grown considerably more picky regarding buffets over the past five years.
