Helping out

I spent the afternoon with my friend who has the spinal compression fracture. She's doing a bit better now and sees the spine doc tomorrow. Mostly I played with her cat and kept it out of her face but it's funny. This cat hated everyone else who's been there to help out but wouldn't leave me alone. She loved me.

As for my friend, let's just say getting older sucks rocks.

I more or less pissed away my holiday weekend. I haven't felt up to snuff, just tired out, not sick and not motivated to do diddly. I'm even cold right now and people who know me know how rare that is.

The bad news is my royalty check is a joke. I sold more of the first two books in the Soldiers of the Sun than the novel.Oh what I wouldn't give for some more, better reviews but I'm not letting it stop me.

I'm editing the crap out of Blood Red. Wish me luck.
