Helping out

I spent the afternoon with my friend who has the spinal compression fracture. She's doing a bit better now and sees the spine doc tomorrow. Mostly I played with her cat and kept it out of her face but it's funny. This cat hated everyone else who's been there to help out but wouldn't leave me alone. She loved me.

As for my friend, let's just say getting older sucks rocks.

I more or less pissed away my holiday weekend. I haven't felt up to snuff, just tired out, not sick and not motivated to do diddly. I'm even cold right now and people who know me know how rare that is.

The bad news is my royalty check is a joke. I sold more of the first two books in the Soldiers of the Sun than the novel.Oh what I wouldn't give for some more, better reviews but I'm not letting it stop me.

I'm editing the crap out of Blood Red. Wish me luck.

I hear you on feeling blah... I wonder if you're all written out. I know I've got a ton of writing to do & it's hard to get motivated.

I'm sorry about the royalty check. I wish I had bought the actual book instead of the ebook. *sighs* Since I've already reviewed it, I can't review it again or I would.

Aaah... I've been working on some pinch hits over at tumblr, I also did some for fandom stocking & I owe Geeky-chan one, I'm writing for tumblr's PruHun week (although today, I did a pic), I have another GerIta pinch Hit over at tumblr, I double-dipping with my Germncest pinch hit, but using my picfor1000 prompt as a prompt, since they were okay with anything (and I couldn't write what they wanted if they had to pick something. XD)So yeah, I'm written out & I have the last chapter of my Spicelanders & Elves fic to write up for Madrona. XD

Okay. It was my pleasure, but I think when Vegas Vamps goes up, I'm going to buy the actual book. :D
