Mistakes were made
Feb. 18th, 2016 09:37 pmI should have put up with the itchy allergic rash because my knee was NOT happy to be rubbed by pants. Tomorrow I will cover it because my scrubs are unforgiving.
Happy Birthday to
seta_suzume! Hope it was a great day. My birthday gift leaves something to be desired...
Ever have a day where you're cruising along fine and suddenly it's like someone pulled out your plug? that's me today.
I'm so tempted to write this! I already know she was a hippie and her twins are Storm and Star and her daughter also had twins. Probably someone should stop me....
Still no closer to figuring out where I want to go on my first real non-work related vacation in 8 years. Washington? Canada? I really want to go back to the UK or Italy but I know that's unlikely.
Honestly I don't care one way or the other about the genders of the characters I'm reading about. I do, however, mind THIS! I've read the first few in this series and liked it well enough but I'm annoyed to see Mercy forever depicted with barely there shirts. Almost every time I see an UF with a female protagonist they look like this (fantasy books too, sort of the Comic Book Heroine syndrome). This is of course a long time ongoing issue but you'd think as much as it's been MOCKED over the last several years they'd catch on. I'm not entirely sure Briggs herself has much control over it. Many authors have less cover control than you'd think. Sigh.
