exhausting week
Mar. 25th, 2016 12:16 amI've written almost nothing except for monday which feels like months ago at this point. I'm editing a little now but mostly I'm surfing the next drowning in depression.
Work has been crazy and dealing with the second period in a month isn't helping (ah, PCOS). So little things set me off, like stumbling over a post on Jana's FB about someone asking about vampires and another person responding with a rant that ends with 'they're so over, just stake them all.' Yes, one person's opinion and there are just as many people who love them still. However, seeing that when you're in the middle of your own vampire story takes the wind out of you.
Of course I could go look at this article ES sent me yesterday because it helps. Focus on fun and forget fear
And also I KNOW I have a sex scene between Luc and Arrigo but it's MISSING from my already overly long draft. Sobs. It's god knows where but not in the middle where it belongs. ES sent me this one on those saggy book middles that's also pretty good the muddle in the middle
If nothing else at least no one said this about one of MY sex scenes. George R.R. Martin writes with less sexual appeal than Ted Cruz opening his robe and asking a swarm of tarantulas if they are moist. (from Cracked's famous books with sex scenes that couldn’t be filmed)
And assholes broke into the cars in the lot here again and I'm betting they were former tenants because they knew where the cameras were to block them. Luckily it wasn't MY car this time.
I will say Kudos to Disney too bad they didn't film in North Carolina too. Now I'm wondering if I WILL be going to the conference there now in light of their new anti-LGBT legislation. Do I even want to?
But not all is doom and gloom. I had wine at the winery. And then there is is this adorable couple in Oregon.
And this fandom lingo tea blend collection and they all sound yummy (and look only ONE rooibos blend, see people who do MY fandoms, you don't have to put that crap in everything).
And I will say this: I was disturbed by these movies when I first saw them (except for the Brooke Shields one, which I never saw). It didn't take aging to make them inappropriate. 5 classic movies that have become horrifying with age
and boy is it raining.

I read about North Carolina with a head shake because I was too busy being outraged over the law signed by the local governor. Jeeeeeze.
