“But Fred, I don’t want to spend more time with him. He gives me the willies,” Gunn said, his eyes flicking toward the lobby.

Fred stroked his arm. “Charles, he’s just lost and trying to find his way. Besides, if we don’t teach him ways to entertain himself, he’ll come looking for us when he’s bored. And he might wander into…”

Gunn’s eyes opened wide with horror as he snatched the Gameboy out of Fred’s hands. He hurried into the lobby with it. “Got something for you, Connor.”

The youth looked at it curiously. “What?”

“Gameboy, best thing on earth.”
