It started before I even was fully awake with Dad shrieking at me. He is far more deaf than he will admit. I'm not even sure what he thought I said as he was talking about the assassination of those cops in Baton Rogue but it wasn't what I did say. He calmed right down and apologized and he was crying. Those two snipers in Dallas and Baton Rogue have really upset him. (and me for that matter).

Then came a phone call from a local lawyer (who rather messed up grandma's estate) about a church trip this week out to eastern PA. Mom helped plan it for Father but I'm not going (4 hour bus ride to see a religious play, no thanks). Anyhow she calls after paying 180$ times 2 to say her niece she's taking can't ride on the bus so she's going to drive out. WTF? Seriously? then why in the world pay for this? just drive there and buy your own ticket.

I called the Inn at the Convention Center in Portland to cancel one day. they said it was easier to do in person so wouldn't cancel it til I got there. This makes no sense. Now they can't even rerent the room. I took his name because I'm not trusting he's right. Also the inn has no breakfast nor pool. I can live without the pool but I really wish there was breakfast. I'm not too keen on riding the train with my luggage either.

I got new tires on my car because who needs money? I can't really complain though because I got 50,000 miles out of the old ones.

On my facebook/twitter for Jana I've been doing a joy of the day. Here's one I didn't put there. Today I was very happy and grateful that two of the women I went to Raleigh with tagged me in a DSP sale ad saying my books are a great read.
