cornerofmadnessI've written near 5K in the last three days which isn't that much in Nano terms but more than I've written in nearly a year. My muscles ache because I've been on the couch in front of Harry Potter and The Simpson marathons writing my fingers bloody. I did however finish my Science Fiction story (that desperately needs a title. I haven't even considered it yet). I also finished my third, and should be final edit of Corpse Powder.
I haven't cleaned. The house is a wreck. I haven't graded things (sorry students). I haven't worked on classes or figured out Socrative yet. Oops. I haven't reviewed all the things. But I got my writing done.

I had a strange dream. I was in the woods near my house (though it was not any place I actually know) and there were huge ripe blackberries and I wanted to eat them and I got hit by a swarm of bees. I tried to run and even though I knew it was an unnatural swarm, I thought I could escape. I did and then I went back into the same area after the same blackberries and got attacked again. Then I dreamt I was somewhere with Mom and she was asking for homemade ginger ale from someone. She kept whining it didn't have enough vinegar in it and we kept saying there is no vinegar in ginger ale. We left then again went right back into that same dream.
Mom and Dad are leaving for their 3 week northwestern tour and Mom is furious. They went to Grandma's to get something and even though the house isn't technically sold yet (the bank has yet to do its evaulation etc) the realtor locked it off. We had a back door key. There must be some miscommunication but the realtor knows the reason we pushed the new people's move in date was because we need to get all the stuff out of the house (if you saw the pictures all the staging stuff is OURS) Kind of fucking hard to move it out if they change the damn locks. Lucky Uncle will have to call them and Mom admits that might be better as he's more laid back.
And shockingly Dad understands me sometimes. We were talking about how I could get more of my loans paid off and I could make more money if I taught middle or high school and he replied yes but what good will loans being paid off do you in jail after you murder a teenager. Fair point.
Check this out Upcoming SF and fantasy TV & movie adaptations some look exciting, some are why the hell are we doing this and others I literally have NO idea what they are and that means a reading binge.

I can't believe they locked you out of your own property!! I believe it's still yours until everything goes through & you get the check. What if you were still living there & had to stay until a certain date, cuz the peeps who used to own your new home haven't moved out yet. XD
I'm glad you & Dad aren't at odds with each other & that he does understand you. As someone who sees middle schoolers at their hungry worst, I think you do it, without murdering one. ;p High schoolers... that can be hard. ^^;

You know I thought I would hate the high schoolers more but when I did the student teaching the middle schoolers were the most miserable
