Random fan girl thoughts

I managed to watch some tv this week. I'm still trying to figure out how I felt about this week's Smallville. It had some nice and creepy emotions and stuff floating through it. A moment of panic as I thought Gee Lana won't go (okay I know she won't in the end but I can keep hoping). Some nice stuff with Chloe and Pete and I liked how Lex reinterpreted the prophecy as only he could. Then there were huge plot holes like how would Chloe's unemployed dad afford to buy a place that makes no money and he doesn't really want.

Then I finally caught up to the 100th episode of Angel. Since I know there's a lot who still haven't seen it, we'll go ahead and make a cut here and if you want to read more, and I warn you I say exactly what I feel good and bad, then read on.

Van Helsing

Well since it has become apparant when Utah told me my interview was at noon they meant noon in Utah not noon in Florida so I've had time to write up my review of the movie.

Van Helsing, hmm what to say. It was pure eye candy and very little else. I’ll try to review without spoiling too much.

Second interview down

One to go. I think the interview with Snow College in Utah went well (cross your fingers). I think I nailed the questions much better this time. I felt more comfortable (even if I was shaking) and I liked them better. I got a friendlier vibe (unlike the let's trip her up vibe I got from Jax) They did ask why in the world would I want to go to middle of nowhere Utah and I think my answer amused and impressed them. I go to Kansas for interview three on thursday.

fandom-wise I just got my female ficathon assignment. Interesting. I really dislike the character I was given but the request is interesting enough to counteract that. In fact, I've always thought about writing in the given time period for that character and this should be a good challenge.

Finished my Male ficathon challenge. Need to clean and post. Now to get my Angel Book of Days done. I've already told them I'll be late since I'll be in Kansas when it's due. I have my idea. It's working okay but I got humor as a genre and well...I suck at that. Still I think I've got something mildly funny at any rate
