Female Ficathon

Here's my entry for  writinggoddess 's female ficathon. I wrote for Kristi and I had Fred for my femme. It was an interesting challenge, in part because anyone who knows my work knows Fred is either background or I kill her so it was different for me to use her as the focus character. But the challenge idea was interesting and I think I did a pretty good job of catching a fresh from Pylea Fred. I hope yuns think so too. So here you go, my story, Waiting for the Storm

WIP Support Group Ficathon

Thanks for participating in this. Since I left it open for nearly a month longer than planned thanks to my oral comphrensive exam getting in the way, I AM of course extending the deadline. You have until Sept 1st to finish your poor languising WIP. I'll put up the masterlist then and hopefully remember to send out reminders to everyone about this in August.

Have fun writing your OWN fiction for a change and if anyone needs support, a little help, etc, just email me or poke a stick at my LJ and I'll try to hook you up with someone who can help. And since we're doing all our own fic, if we get a latecomer signing up, that's okay too.

Hopefully we'll have a rich crop of finished fic by September's harvest. Oh and unlike most ficathons which don't want you to post until the deadline day, that obviously doesn't apply here since 99% of these stories are all around posted in part somewhere.

Well heck, I had this story done for days and forgot about the new deadline date. SORRY.  Anyhow here's the story I wrote for cookie_dough101 's Faith Ficathon. I wrote for doyle_sb4 .
