Ficlet and stuff

It's pouring down rain. That's okay. It tends to make me write more. 

I'm in a significant amount of pain. Thursday, a student called my name and I twisted to talk to her and my knee dislocated. That's no big deal. My right knee is subluxed (i.e. the knee cap just floats freely and dislocates all the time). It hurt but calmed down as per normal. Yesterday it was the size of an elephant's knee and I could barely bend it. Still hurts today. I think I popped that old scar tissue. OUCH!

Iktomi Update

My dad found Iktomi, or should I say J.R., my uncle's Jack Russell found him. Best they can figure happened was last weekend someone missed the blind curve around our house and cut through the bottom part of our yard (the yard is about 12 cut acres) and hit Iktomi. Of course that was the first place Dad looked seeing the damage to his yard and having a missing cat.

Iktomi must have tried to crawl home and died in the woods between our house and the neighbors. Dad made him a big limestone head stone. And I wanted to thank everyone for your good wishes about this.
