Called mom tonight and she said she had a migraine. A hour later and I have one. It's killing me but better tonight than getting the worst of it tomorrow.
Still it stopped me from getting to 70% on the whole novel thing And we're still on about the hair. SEE?
Makai settled the purple skull cap over his head. It felt strange not having to tie back his long hair. He wondered when he get used to having short hair... (later on the same page) Makai played with the wisps of his shorn hair as it stuck out like Maylis flower fluff from under his skull cap. It tickled his cheeks. He scowled, tore off the cap and tried to shove his fine brown hair back under it. His hair simply refused to be cooperate, short or long that didn’t appear to change.
Kylle laughed. “You look silly with that cap on. But at least you don’t have a tail to get yanked around.” Kylle demonstrated by tugging on her golden braid but Makai’s eyes were fixed on her breasts and the way her movements made them jiggle. Still, she had a point. Antlers was a rough game and dragging a player to the ground by his or her hair was a common foul.
And anyone who thinks the author has total control over their characters...well let's just say that's not so.
UPS is coming tomorrow. I got nothing done today (well a huge chunk of my IWRY story and Angel is official a dickweed). i spent it waiting on the psychiatrist's office to call me back. There's something in medicine many people don't know. It's like the mafia any more. Huge medical groups force the individual practioners into joining them. EVERY psychiatrist in Rhinelander is now part of Ministry Health. I've been waiting THREE days to get a call back. I have to go to the hospital on thursday for another doctor's appointment. I'm this close to melting down in their waiting room. Okay Think I Can Get An Appointment NOW?
