Other than thanks to ELD for getting through most of Numb. I'll be getting to that soon. What can I say? nearly 40,000 words and still no description. I'm good! Got more of the IWRY story done. It's STILL not done but hey it's 30 pages of babbling.

My journal is called The Corner of Madness because I felt it was fitting. That title has been in my mind for years and it wasn’t until after I made the journal did I remember why. It was the name of the editorial page of my college paper when my friend Steve was the editor of the Yellow Jacket. Since it’s been over 15 years I doubt Steve will mind. After all my life IS a corner of madness

My subtitle is Staying Sane Inside Insanity because it worked with the title and I love the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

My friends page is called The Asylum because again it works with the title nad most of my friends probably belong in an asylum

My username is Cornerofmadness because I was too lazy to come up with a bunch of names and it worked so well

My default userpic is ever changing because I’m a fickle Gemini but right now it’s of Connor because I’m obsessed with a wiry blue eyed boy with bad hair.

Good news and bad

The bad. I get about five things from the post office today saying they trashed one of my boxes but they scooped up most of it (then rather send it on to where it was going they returned it to Fl then it had to be shipped BACK here and they had both addresses since they sent me that part of the double walled box) It was of course my collection of comics and Buffy memorablia. Some is torn. Some might be lost (sadly I did NOT have time to inventory every item) MOST is okay but they did lose one set of cards. Will go on line to find a replacement value for that. They DID give me extra books. Don't know who else's box exploded but I have his boring books. At least USPS tried to rectify it instead of giving me the runaround ala UPS.

Good news  - I won THREE Bodice Ripper awards for Transitive Nightfall of Diamonds (this is my historical Ripper/Deirdre/Ethan fic, please have a look see at it. It's definitely different for me and it's set in NYC and upstate NY) One for Best Plot and one for Best Challenge and runner up for best het. I adore the award for best challenge (that's the cheeky grin that makes me want to do naughty things to Giles). Oh and go nominate. It's strictly Giles fic but they're now taking ficlet/drabbles for Giles and one category for other Watchers.
