well that was exciting
Dec. 16th, 2004 08:01 pmAll my students passed. Some by the skin of their teeth but they all passed. Yea me. My boss is thrilled with how I handled the semester. I got him a six-pack for christmas. He took me out for a pastrami on rye with horseradish and a few pitchers of beer.
Which then left me a) going to the store after a pitcher of beer. Not a good combo and b) I got to drive home in a blinding snowstorm. This was a thrill. I'm not sure WHY it's snowing. It's only 14 out soon to be 5 below if the weatherman is right. THat's usually too cold to snow. Don't tell that to Nicolet National Forest...
Oh and my possessed house which was at 68 degrees when I left (and didn't touch the thermometer) was only 58 when I got home. I can not figure out why it likes to have 15 degree temperature swings but it does. I just think the house hates me.
ETA - I forgot to mention I now no longer KNOW if I have a job in January. They tell us this week they may restructure everything so I could find out when I get back that I won't be teaching after all. Merry Christmas to me.
