Meet the new House Elf

ME! Mom wakes me up before she goes to work to inform me  I have to a) finish wrapping her gifts b) wash clothes c) make an artful array of the christmas cards d) salt the driveway from hell e) cook dinnre f) make baklava and I've yet to go visit the kitties graves.

In better news I've won two awards from Shades of Grey. One was for runner up for best Dawn fic for The Sound of Silence. It's the Dawn/SPike set in the town I was living in, in Florida. And yes I'm well aware it needs a sequel!

And I won runner up for best romance (yes, I won something in romance, how unusual for me) for Even to the Edge of Doom, a Box of Crayons story - Color Sunglow, the Dawn/Connor secret marriage which I'll admit is a bit sweet especially coming from me.

Holiday dessert

I'd say this is more recipes for Leni but this one is...well, it's STILL easy but it goes best with two people because the Phyllo dough gets ruined easily especially when your hands are buttery so it's good to have a second person who hands you the phyllo dough.

Dear Unmanageable Silly characters

Thank you for making my stories move in strange spits and spurts. Just when I think I know what you're going to do, you surprise me. Suddenly Buffy and Angel are performing perfectly without any threats at all and suddenly Connor and Faith start acting like feaks; Connor's completely weirded out about ever having sex again after what Cordy did to him and Faith's rethinking her lifestyle thanks to Robin. All well and good but that's not helping the story guys. I think Kristi's Angel smacking board can be modified to be applied to his son.

And speaking of Buffy/Angel, I'm almost finished with my Secret Santa, anyone have time to do an emergency beta on the last two chapters?
