Urgh

I could just cry. I screwed up on the evolution test I just gave this week. I had a true false question that read Darwin's Origins of the Species was published in 1830 and THEN put a fill in the blank that asked who wrote the Origins of the Species. AND I had a multiple choice question listing out 4 causes of extinction then asked an essay question 'please list 3 causes of extinction with examples' and people missed BOTH answers where they were required to write. In fact over 50% missed the Darwin questions. Can I cry?

At least Nano is going okay. I came up with a tenative title for my werewolf story (let me say this, I blow at titles) Splinters of Silver and Cold Iron. Well at least it's something to call it until inspiration strikes.

Went to the Doctor's

and found out that 40mg Prilosec isn't covered by my insurance because it's now OTC and the RX version is 3 times the price. Switched to Nexium again. Need more blood work (big shock). It's looking like I'll have to have that stomach surgery because I'm maxing out on the stomach meds I can take. Pout.

I was also a little afraid this week. Monday I had to go to advisee training for student advising next week. I thought I was suddenly going to get assigned students but I'm not. Wipes sweat from brow. I just have to observe and get trained (something for the resume!)

As for my students....sob.
