miscalculations

it got much warmer than anticipated today. I put out all my seedlings and plants to get some light. They dried out and wilted. Poor things. I just gave them scads of water and shall hope for the best

Disappointed all the students by telling them I wasn't going to drop any questions from their test. counteroffered with a really sweet deal on extra credit.

Got my tax refund. Whee.

Still arguing with mom about Easter. I don't really want to go home because I do NOT get off easter monday. Which means I have to leave in the middle of the holiday. What is the damn point? Dad agrees. Mom doesn't. To top it off I have to create two exams while I'm there. Really all i'm going to do is WORK. She thinks I'm going to be doing all this stuff with her. It's like mom NO, even if I come home I'm busy. You can stare at me working. Isn't this exciting. Sigh.

Words you do NOT want to hear

When the maintaince man is putting the new element in your hot water tank. 'Oh SHIT!' followed by blubbing noises of your tank emptying into the living room. Luckily he clamped it off before TOO much water got into the living room.

Note to Landlord, these places aren't 2 years old yet. This is the FOURTH tank to die. Maybe buying the cheapest shit you could find wasn't the wisest move. Oh and FINISH my damn bathroom. The lineoleum is peeling up.

Finally got the Buffy Love story moving. Hmmm how best to do dark B/A?
