Rating – will vary from chapter to chapter, mostly Pg-13 but will eventually contain well marked adult chapters.
Time Line – anime based, spoilers all the way through the anime and the movie and does have strong manga elements such as Armstrong’s older sister and the land of Xing
Summary – As Roy and Riza prepare for their wedding, while dodging assassins, Ed and Al try to find their way back home.
Author’s Note #1– This was written after much prodding by

evil_little_dog as a sequel to the source of sorrow and is now her holiday gift even if she has beta’ed part of it. So thanks to her and

lyricnonsense for the beta. You do not have to read the first story to understand this. You’ll quickly pick up that Riza has retired from the military to be Roy’s wife and bodyguard. Olivia Armstrong is now president and she’s assigned Roy as the ambassador to Ishbal; oh and that Roy was severely injured in the destruction of the Gate, requiring some of Winry’s automail.

Author's Note #2 Gold star if you guess the movie shout out in this chapter(in fact first person can get a drabble written for them, characters of their choice). And You can really tell I’m watching too much Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmerman. I’ve incorporated a lot of that into this chapter and chapters to come. (keep me away from this show. it just bunnies me)

Gah, where did the acid bottle come from and why did I drink it? Woke up with a horribly upset stomach. Breakfst didn't stay down. Went to work, Made it thru 6 hours of physiology lab for non-majors, only one boo-boo dissecting, didn't puke on anyone and ended up being video taped by a camera phone because well dissecting? Who'd believe i did THAT let's vid it.

Got home grade exams, feeling marginally better. Ate. Regretting it now. I'm pretty sure my tofu is eating its way free ala Alien.

And yes, Roy i get it. There's no way in hell you're eating 9 lives grilled tuna and egg. I see that. I thought I could sneak it into the kibble you do like but you proved me wrong. Beautiful the way you nosed the kibble out of your bowl onto the floor. You know for an outdoor dumpster cat you're sure getting picky. You want what's on my plate? Fine, here look. Meow? What? yes it's tofu. Oh, you don't want that? You want meat? Sorry, it's tofu night. Go eat that mound of kibble off the floor.
