Summary – As Roy and Riza prepare for their wedding, while dodging assassins, Ed and Al try to find their way back home.
Author’s Note #1– This was written after much prodding by evil_little_dog as a sequel to the source of sorrow and is now her holiday gift even if she has beta’ed part of it. So thanks to her and lyricnonsense for the beta. You do not have to read the first story to understand this. You’ll quickly pick up that Riza has retired from the military to be Roy’s wife and bodyguard. Olivia Armstrong is now president and she’s assigned Roy as the ambassador to Ishbal; oh and that Roy was severely injured in the destruction of the Gate, requiring some of Winry’s automail.

Let's just say watching male coworkers cry is very uncomfortable. So is being asked to write letters of reccomendation for tenured faculty. Yeah,it's that bad. Sigh.

Just realized that in the piddle amount of crap i wrote this week I forgot to put in the major clue i've been building up to. Head desk. Speaking of Riding with Strangers, I REALLY need a couple of first readers who want to read and give me some critiques. It hasn't gotten so much as a peep out of the original fiction filter so that's made me a little nervous (well not TOO much since half my filter was nanoing too). THe deadline for this is in March so I really need to a) get it done and b) get it polished FAST. So if anyone is interested, let me know and I can get the first chunk to you a.s.a.p. Thanks.
