I DID IT

Ijust finished my nano novella. Oh joy and even without cutting anything I am under the word count needed. HOWEVER, once i got through this once and deal with the talkking heads of the last several scenes I won't be. For those of you who have read parts of it, silvrethorn has suggested cutting the first scene. I can see her point. What do you think?

Once i clean this up a tad I'll send it out to my first readers (warning guys there is yellow highlighter on it marking scenes I thought could go to get me under 30K). If anyone else wants to see it post me your email. Keep in mind this is a murder mystery that contains homosexual erotica.


Speaking of writing, I've been busy going through the picfor1000 pictures since they opened it up for us to use others once we get ours done. I find snippets of poetry/lyrics/pictures very helpful to get me moving on writing. I would love to do this outside of that community. Wonders if anyone would be interested. I could revamp my writing comm nanomowhinging for that. COuld move the writers group aspect to a filter for privacy (you can do that in communities can't you?) and resurrect the prompt aspect to anyone interested in it as well as allowing us to post weekly goals. Thoughts?

ETA - for the fanfic writers out there I have a question. I know 1sentence is for pairings. I find the idea of this intriquing however I'm feeling less like writing pairings and more into character analysis. is there an LJ comm that does the 1 sentence format for singular characters? thanks
