snagged from [livejournal.com profile] rahirah

Inspired by Doctor Who's "Turn Left:" Pick one of my stories and tell me a point in the tale that you'd change -- something tiny or big -- and I'll tell you how that one difference would have altered the course of the entire story

you can find my stories in my memories, here & here

Got Kyo today. He loved all over me then said die you evil witch for leaving me

Wal-Mart has FINISHED with their lawn and garden stuff. While i got a bunch of plants for nothing I can't finish getting my river rock. Blow me, Wally World. Just because YOU put your stuff out at the end of Feb before anyone is ready to work in the garden doesn't mean you can take it all away first week in July when we ARE working on it. I'm calling Lowes

Had to change my Dr's appt because i'm getting company this weekend and damn it it'll take another month to get in. I told them you get me into the specialist without me coming in to see you as a mid-step thanks for nothing.

After I trashed the computer room moving EVERYTHING so the LL could work on the electricity, it turns out it was the outisde security light doing it since it has a short. ARGH. He also can't figure out why my shower head keeps messing up.

and it's been SO cool until today when i need out in the garden. It's nearly 90

shoot me

A day late but oh well. There was all the coming home trauma yesterday so....

This past week was more about going everywhere with family than writing. That said I got almost 5,800 words done for my original fiction, more if you count fanfic.

There were good things happening. My first readers for the homosexual (still unnamed) BDSM story had some very good suggestions. Also on the way down here the space (still unnamed) opera told me pretty much the rest of the plot including another betrayal I wasn't expecting (go figure)

Here's another blog about writing the trials of writing a good heroine. The author makes a point that it's often easier to write from a male pov and honestly i agree. I realized on the drive home that my two romance/erotica stories i'm writing (including the one that just sold) are written from a male pov.

63681 / 100000 words. 64% done!

good news - electicity is back on
bad news - it was the outside light causing the short so i moved everything for nothing

good news - Kyo has forgiven me
bad news - there's long orange hair EVERYWHERE

good news- LL weedwhacked all around the garden for me
bad news - he mistook my day lillies as tall grass....(well at least they're hardly)

good news - the flowering pretty weed that my aunt gave me with the yucca plants is growing well
bad news - it's strangling out everything

good news - the moonflowers and other ground cover is doing well
bad news - the delphinium died

good news - there really isn't any
bad news - I have to teach summer school starting tomorrow. I'd rather gargle broken glass

good news - kitties have appetites in spite of Kyo having allergies/cold
bad news - forgot to buy food...

good news - found an article on resume killers for my friends
bad news- these are probably in my cover letter....
