It's all over but the crying

And there's a bunch of that. Some happy tears by those eeking past, some because they realized they can't pass. Actually the afternoon allied health/nursing crew did much better than their morning counterparts. Only 3-4 aren't going to make it. I still have to add in some of the online homework, drop two low labs/homework and add in extra credit (that's a problem for friday)

I wrote a ton during the test PLUS the writers' zoom today. I got 4530 words. WHOO HOO. One fandomtrees is done, one is nearly done and a third is started. Look at me go. Now if only original fiction was this easy.

Now I have given up on my fridge. I realized I have like 3 days left before I go home so even if I get the kitchen pristine when could the landlord come? The freezer is fine and I always empty the fridge when I leave. I'll clean it all up and then call them when I'm back in January. Please call them. This has gone on too long.


But it's not one of my days without some kind of annoyance. So I've been waiting on the drop for the Hazbin Hotel S2 trading cards. There was a preorder option that I couldn't do for some reason. I tried to get a ticket, didn't see it (probably sold out) so they had 2 days of preordering. It opened today for the rest of us at noon. I had the cart loaded. 1200 pm I hit buy. Gone. Sold Out. In the hour after that I needed to dress and get to the test, they put out the second run and it was sold out too by the time I sat back down at 120. OMFG. I know that there'll be other runs. I don't actually care that it's not first run. I love trading cards. I just wanted them to look at them. Hell I'm so old by the time they're really worth anything I'll be dead. Of course knowing this fandom as I now do, the preorders were bought out by scalpers and those cards will be sold in the thousands of dollars (oh hell no). End of the world, no? Annoying, yes.

I still have my Harry Potter TCG cards that may or not be worth money. If I was failing out of medical school, they would probably have to commit me out of emotional distress.

I need to get this out. Graphical Image Manipulation Program is needlessly complicated. I miss Photoshop so much. I know GIMP is a great program but OH, MY GOSH is it frustrating. There is a Github repository that would allow me to download Photoshop, but it can't be a current version and while that wouldn't bother me, it's just tedious when a Linux program for image manipulation already exists.

Sorry that was so off topic. I'm trying to make a fanmix cover and it's looking so ugly to me. Layers should not be difficult to manipulate. Okay, I'm done.

I have cards going all the way back to 1977 with Star Wars (which are worth less money than you'd think since I played with them and they're only in good to average condition)

Ugh no, I get it. Canva and Pixlr aren't great either until you start paying for it and I don't do graphics enough to do that

I know Connor is a very unpopular character due to the way he was written, but I've always loved him due to my own circumstances. I understand his emotional state. With Seth, it's my unpopularity and total rejection of what regular people seem to enjoy, I guess. I've actually shipped them for years, but never did anything about it until now. I also love Cooper from The Days (and it is a secret OT3), but that show was canceled after, like, eight episodes, which sucks.

But there was also the fact that Brave, while fantastic at security, really sucks when it comes to image searches. Wow. I had to go back into Chromium to find anything useful. And now I feel like I can't do anything decent for the cover to this fanmix I love so much.

I added 'Ends Of The Earth' by Lord Huron last night after realizing it was a great addition. I wonder if 25 songs is too long. I remember when I heard it for the first time on Shameless US. I fell in love with it instantly.

Bummer about the trading cards. Even more annoying if it is scalpers.

I absolutely do not want them in here when I'm not. I would have to be here to empty the freezer and put it back regardless. i'm fine with it. It's my fault. I had four months to deal with this and didn't.

I'm very upset about the cards because I KNOW they'll be scalped. I'm watching carefully to see if/when a third run will drop and in the future I'll know better (that said I'm not paying some high fee to be the first in the door)
