Picspam of DOOM
Nov. 2nd, 2009 09:54 pmSo, I ran to Athens today to go to the Halloween shop to see what was on sale and those bastards did only one day of after sale and closed up shop. What a waste of my time, gas and money since I then went and binged in the Krogers to make myself feel better. Please someone physically restrain me the next time I'm in that Krogers.
I got my first
springkink story from
evil_little_dog. It's NCIS, Abby/McGee, go read and enjoy Sugar High
as promised Picspam
First up the Math/Science club luncheon
me and my coworkers the vampire-pirate chemist and the 1800’s maiden biologist
Enter now the Wicked Manor where Elizabeth has been living well by marrying and murdering river boat captains. She and her servants and dead husbands are still roaming the halls.
Her eccentric cook (my coworker, L, the one I talk about a lot. She and I decorated this room)
the dining room where the cook pops back out. I want the dragon chairs (we decorated this too and for that matter painted part of most of these walls in the whole place while the tech director's wife did the detail work on them)
while you're busy looking at table you trigger the motion sensor for this dude (helped make him too)
including this only because it came out cool and right before it a picture falls down and someone pops out
while you're studying the thing in the bed something comes at you thru this french doors
welcome to the living room. I want that couch
the living room fireplace, with cool LED hurricane lamps and a monster that rolls out of the chimney
the library with creepy blue light and something just around that corner (I painted all these damn flats well the shelving. Someone much more talented did the books
the front parlor where Lizzie waits with an axe well she would be if she weren't a teenaged girl that had to text up to the last second and couldn't be there for the shot. Everything on the table lives normally in my living room.
while they're walking towards this away from Lizzie and into the maze beyond where I lurk, a hatchet pops up out of this portrait of the tech director and they think Lizzie threw it
a zombie in its cage
If you survive zombies and maze Liz you move on to the funeral
zombie with dead husband This was great. He'd lie there holding his breath while the funeral director would do her spiel then as they were leaving, he'd sit up and turn on a red light on his face. You'd hear the screams and stampedes out.
if you survive the funeral you go to the tunnels beneath the graveyard and this IS a very old hand dug tunnel and the old brickwork of the building.
not really part of the tour but this is that staircase that I was drawn to that was hidden
do you know how long it took me to paint yards and yards of fabric to look like stone which it does in the dark but not so much in the light
the bottomless pool, freaky in the dark
the loculi, yes once again my handiwork with S's help painting that is. People shouldn't trust me with the saw to make this thing. You can hardly see it in this but we put tree branches down here to look like roots and you can't really stand upright entirely at this point if you're tall.
after getting past the various things lurking in the tunnel and another dead husband in a coffin you surface into the graveyard
just a small piece of it
then you go up onto stage
and get accosted by these two in the hedge maze all painted by L.
more graves and another dead husband who pops up out of that hole.
Lizzie is hanged for her crimes This falls down and so does the underneath the scaffold veiling so you can see her strangling then she meets you axe in hand around the corner. You leave the stage go out into the alley (no picture) and get chased there too.
i'll save the cemetery picspam for another day since this is already impossibly long.
