Writerly Ways

nothing too deep here for my last writer's post of the year. 2009 was a decent year for writing for me. I've sold two stories (neither of which have been seen yet and who knows if ever but still). I wrote a total of 179,004 words of ORIGINAL fiction (who knows how much fanfic. I'm sure i don't want to tally that up.) It's nothing to sneeze at I guess.

For those of you interested in working on an author's platform check out the last several posts by moschus. She's got several good blogs on that.

For the final writing exercise I borowed this one from evil_little_dog

Sum up your main original character in a single sentence. Straight-forward or whimsical as you please.
