Why is the first week of the semester about 10 months long?

Mom is doing well but they have her meds up to high. She can hardly talk. SHe should be home on Saturday.
writing for charity to help out in Haiti if you want to check me out there, feel free. Something to consider, if you have a capital one card, use it for any donations you make using credit cards. They give 100% of your money to the charity. (last year credit cards skimmed 250 million off donations)
