A day early but at thispoint who's counting?

the topic today is making them turn to the next chapter way into the wee hours of the night. I admit it, i sabotage myself here. i have this burning need to complete a scene. I need to find better ways of breaking one to get people to read on.

However sometimes it feels a little like a cheat. I'm reading C S Harris's latest mystery which I am loving but she has a habit of breaking chapters mid conversation sometimes not even at a don don doooon spot. yes i do keep turning the page. but yes I do feel slightly cheated when this happens.

what do you all think? how do you handle the cliffhanger chapter end? i get the feeling i asked this the time i read one of Ms. Harris's books.

I've been making some progress in my writing but not much as I'm sure you've guessed. not even at the half way point

but before that, yay new york!

and i'm sad to see Peter Falk died. i loved columbo

my cousin is having her daughter's graduation party and invited 170 people (no that's not the trauma) her sister was driving up from NC in an old van with her teenaged daughter and the woman I call femme-nazi. i told mom watch that old van not make it.

um yeah I called it. At least they made it to the WV/PA border. her husband was here (he's in PA training for a new job). he and dad went out ti pick them up from where ever they were towed.

Not really looking forward to tomorrow's party. I think it will be too much for me and i have to ride there with femme-nazi. bet i have to hear about how evil NY is.
