Nothing deep this time. I need to get back to writing my Vacation in Victoria story. I'm not even including it in the word counts below since I didn't touch it all week. I did of course get that flash fic done if you'd like to read and vote for it (see yesterday's post). I am also doing that Rule of Three challenge. It sounded exciting and let's face it with a cap of 500 words that won't take me even an hour to get a rough draft every week.

So I promised character reaction sheets and I finally got them done. Back in the days of Elfquest where all of fandom had original characters these were used for artists/writers to interact in the shared world. THey'll be familiar to

evil_little_dog and many others on my flist whom I've known since the 80's. It's going on 30 years I've known some of them so don't let people tell you fanfiction/fan art is a waste. You can make some really cool friendships, let me tell you.

And the other thing I've accomplished is to decide on what novel I'm going to write. I'm 90% sure it's the Living Goddess one. People seemed to want to see that over the demon hunters and having someone cheer you on when they get what they're interested in is a help (well when you have an ego like mine) So I've done up a list of characters (and I asked a question about the names of the living goddess last night if anyone cares to weigh in) along with an outline. Monday - stay late for tenure portfolio making meeting Tuesday - drive to Athens for fun writing meeting Wed - stay late for school of science meeting Thursday - breathe Friday - drive to athens to see surgeon Saturday - drive to Charleston for workshop (then casino), Monday - get discharged from PT halfway thru (thanks insurance)

So that means i had to run to Jackson to do laundry today. I hope for the last time on a sunday since it puts me late getting to the Krogers and throws off my whole day. I came home scrubbed toilets, cleaned litter boxes and cleaned out the fridge. Honestly, I thought by now I'd have a robot servant to do this for me. So much for youthful expectations.

This morning, Soul and Kanda were ripping through the house. Each revolution, they trampled poor Roy who was just trying to sleep. Tonight, they started ripping through the house and Roy went with them, bringing a can of whoopass. He also beat up the rag rug
