Writerly Ways

You saw my goals and realizing I posted them at a traditionally low traffic time (smart), here you find my 2012 goals here If you're interested in reading/inputting on any of them let me know. We can work out a trade. Thanks to hierath for volunteering to look one over (let me know which you might be interested in.) Hopefully wildrider can still look over Machiavelli Moon and enemytosleep & bay115 can look over Riding with Strangers. If you're looking for a community to keep track of your yearly word count findyourwords will be taking sign ups soon.I find it helpful to keep track once a week because that's how I write.I'm competitive if only with my own goals. gsd_rtfn does a similar thing weekly. And if you're looking for prompts for original fiction origfic_bingo gives out cards at the beginning of each month.

I haven't done much writing this week (that wasn't fanfic) but what I did write was mostly for the bingo in an effort to get the last chapter of Splinters done by the 5th. I'll miss Killian and Taz when I'm done. they're already talking sequel but have offered up NO plot at all so...

not feeling well today

I'm exhausted for no discernible reason. I woke up exhausted, stayed exhausted and only perking up a little now.

Got the tree decorated. Got the last of my gifts wrapped. Got some grocery shopping done. Cleaned up the mess the cats made at Grandma's (they're terrors on throw rugs). Worked up the first two units of my proposed pathophysiology class. Worked up the lecture slides for the autonomic nervous system. Visited my aunt and uncle (not the dying one).

So I guess I've been busy but it feels like I've done nothing. I'm going to finish up my reviews for my writers group (I hope), write at least one or two more stocking gifts and I need to get that chapter of splinters done.

I forgot to mention yesterday that I got cards from seaweed_fma and scribes_ds (and I loved the crown jewels stamp). If I missed anyone's card thing point it out and ditto if you want on mine.

And in the bad news, my netbook is completely paralyzed by the virus. Does anyone know if it's possible to download malware bytes and/or a free version of AVG or something onto a flash and run it from there. I tried but I might have been doing something wrong.
