Lost Day and a fannish question
Mar. 12th, 2012 09:47 pmI over slept, then got all anxious then finally got up to Jackson to do laundry and look at houses, including one the librarian pointed me too (the two librarians I really like were there. I think if I moved to Jackson, I'd probably see them outside of work) None of the houses were up on the website other than as 'coming soon' One was behind my bank, next to a trailer park with them crammed in like sardines and was over 90K. Nope. I can do better. The one the librarian told me about is still being fixed up but it's on the wrong side of town. I've begun checking out how much liquid propane would cost me...
My neighbors were still mixing it up.
I got more stuff cleaned but nowhere near what I wanted to. Ah well.
In spite of the stress last week, I did my tally for
findyourwords and I did over 5K just of original fic. Wow.
I fell over Soul today and really hurt my bad arm :(
I got three shorter YA books from the library recently and I hate to say it, it's sort of a relief to read something that is NOT 500+ pages. Not that I have anything against long stories but these short ones I can knock down in a day or two and move on like short slurps of something sweet without the massive exhausting rush of a huge dessert.
ETA - Hey, FMA fans. Where did Oliva stash Scar at the end of the manga? I know he and she were talking somewhere but I can't remember where nor can I find my issue with it! Thanks
I got this from Wil Wheaton and it's a very good call out for Kirk Cameron and his bullshit.
