There's always a healthy heaping of fresh hell. I woke up this morning around 430Am for the usual pee run and felt odd. went to check my sugar (that was okay) when I hear a truck backing up and a BOOM BOOM BOOM. Fearing another 18 wheeler went over the hill, I look out to see the road construction crew was at the top of the hill. Now I find it admirable that they take the extra risk to work at night with spot lights but my god you DO NOT tear up the mother fucking highway at 4 in the goddamn morning on a monday! They are lucky I don't have a rifle down here.

Went to work just to print out a test and to grab something I needed to grade and forgot about and got stuck down there for 3 hours. Got behind on my tests.

Also found out that I CAN NOT go to Wales in August because I barely have any time off between summer and fall semesters. perfect. Now I have to rush to do it or wait until next spring and do my presentation based off of online photos. sigh.

Called the surgeon about the MRI. didn't hear back but it does usually take about a day for the secretary to call back (they warn you of this on the voice mail)

So yeah, not my best day every. I swear, I hate posting nothing but negatives but did anything good happen?

Oh right, got my royalty check and thanks to the internet pirates, it won't even buy me a coffee. WHee.

ETA - I forgot to mention my landlord is 'fixing' up the place by moving the dumpster across the fucking street and moving the mail boxes to where you have to get out of the car to get to them. THanks for fucking nothing.
