I tried to go back to work today

I am bored. And I really must start working on my new class lectures, especially since the ones from the publisher are kinda poor.

Naturally, instead, I feel like hell. My sugar isn't too high (high but not insanely so). I couldn't wake up. I got up earlier than usual but couldn't get out of bed. I fell asleep in my chair over my morning tea and I've been pretty much useless all day. I feel drugged.

That doesn't mean I didn't try. I wanted to plant my beans and one plant I bought two weeks ago. Have I mentioned I have clay soil? It hasn't rained since friday's monsoon and it is BAKED hard. So hard I was standing on the spade and it wouldn't pierce the ground if that gives you some idea. I decided it could wait until rain.

I did go to the office, downloaded about a half dozen lectures, printed out some stuff and came home and worked on two. That's progress right?

I thought I was getting sicker since it was hot then the a/c kicked on. I had had the windows open since it's been very nice and the a/c was set at 82. Guess it got hotter than that.

I am sicker though. I feel very nauseous. Ah well.

Kanda kinda loves having me home. He likes sleeping next to me. Soul is developing a taste for yogurt. I'm trying to add chia seeds into my diet. these things are freaky.
