So I catch my landlord before noon to tell him that my toilet was possessed and I thought I had the part to fix it but I'm not sure and I don't know how (i.e. unsaid but inferred, this is why i pay you rent) to fix it. He shows up about five hours later.

In the meantime I've been using the toilet by turning the water off and on at the source. Talked to my parents about it (who were far more amused than sympathetic) and Dad mentions that the water pressure regulator must be bad for this to have happened. I proved that by accidentally turning the water on more fully rather than turning it off after a flush and blew the top of the tank off. It hit me in the forehead but I slammed it down before there was another flood and got the water off. I now have an egg above my left eye.

I tell the landlord this because if the regulator is bad and ALL the apartments are on it....well you get the idea. He naturally doesn't have the part and I tell him again about the half functional shower. I am NOT holding my breath that he returns tomorrow.

I didn't write a Writerly Ways mostly because I was in a writing fiction zone. I'll probably break 5K by evening's end. So I'll throw this open. If you want on my original fiction filter, ask. If you want off, ditto. ANd thank you again for all your help there, guys.

Here's one of the things I was working on for a blog hop. Cassadaga Nights A 500 word ghost story (that actually happened). And for another blog hop there is this Character sketch from a new world I'm building. let me know what you think of him. that would be helpful.
