combine HUGE black storm clouds and a funeral home

And you get creepy. Just saying. Today was the funeral. I was supposed to go with several people. A few were frightened off by the storm. I didn't know there was supposed to be one. At that time it was bright blue with fluffy clouds. EB and I went to Bob Evans for dinner (blech) and then down to the funeral. It was going to be a very short vistitation (2 hours). It was a big home with two rooms. The reception room with a flat screen doing a ppt show of family photos (I kinda liked that. Actually they did that at my h.s. reunion but that's neither here nor there). In the room with the casket it was almost like a recieving line at a wedding and they had rows of chairs as if there was going to be a service (probably tomorrow) Didn't know those people so probably family. I really felt bad for my friend. He was very close to his dad and was trying really hard not to cry. It's weird though, meeting someone for the first time and they're dead (I didn't know his dad).

When EB and I (and some of my other coworkers) made it through the line to outside, the storm had arrived. HUGE green/black clouds looking fit to funnel, winds nearing 65 mph and the rain had come. None of us really wanted to wait it out in a hot funeral home so we ran out. Made it home but the rain was coming in sheets, the wind had me everywhere and power was off and on for hours. Soul who was fighting Kanda all morning is now huddled up with him.

My royalities have been fixed (though I thought I sold about 10 more than they say but that could have been post cut off date). I wish The Darkest Midnight in November had sold better but there you have it. I did feel important this morning when I saw several random people retweeted and quoted something I wrote. "I wrote myself into a corner so I wrote a door to get back out of it."

And I had a nightmare last night. I was trying to draw a head shot of my character (for the Welsh thing) and I just couldn't do it. I couldn't hold the pencils (I do have difficulty with that. It's painful for me) and I was so upset I was crying.
