Even I'm Impressed
Aug. 18th, 2012 10:15 pmI got a ton of my stuff done. All my syllabi are done and waiting for me to figure out the new website software to upload them. I finished the first unit edits for both my anatomy classes and one was a bear to fix. I even got some more of my pathophysiology done AND typed over 1000 words of sex scene (natch).
My ass is a little numb from being in this seat all day though. Yikes.
I even finished reading my Longmire book. I didn't know it was a series. The show is only so so (I admit it, I'm watching it for Lou Diamond Phillips). The book had something the tv show does, a sense of humor AND a sense of rez life. Walt and The Bear (Lou's character) have great buddy chemistry. I'll have to see what else the library has of this.
And while we're at it, here have some Lou. I know he's 50 this year but he'll always look like this in my head. While I might be a mile off target, this is who I think of when I'm reading
wildrider's vampire, Sean Patrick.

Back to the writing I go. I think I missed the open call that my holiday story best fits. Sigh. Not romantic enough for one, not kinky enough for the other (i could probably at least fix that)

Kanda, wondering why I'm outside and he's not. I love the Simpson clouds reflected in the glass.
