well that was disappointing.
Aug. 29th, 2012 10:30 amI took off early today since it's a 5th wed of the month and as such there were no meetings so I left soon after work to go to Big Sandy's. My fat ass has broken both the couch and the already broken but now even MORE broke futon. I went to Big Sandy's to get a couch. I got the one i have now there. The agent was very quick to agree that microfiber wears like shit (and I did notice it was almost completely absent). They, just like value city, only deliever on Thursday. SIgh. However, since the last time I was there it's gotten INSANE. Most of the couches were over 1000 and the sectionals over 3. I can do better at value city.
So not to waste an 80 mile round trip to Chillicothe, I went to TJ Maxx which had some super cool Halloween stuff that I should have bought and to Hobby Lobby which for an Uber Christmas store, is run by the devil. I made it out alive and without spending cash. I saved it up for endless shrimp at Red Lobster. Now that I've eaten my weight in shrimp, I'm pretty sure there's nothing left for the rest of the whales. I had a good (or maybe clueless) waitress. Normally they allow NO take homes with all you can eat but she sent two dishes full of shrimp home with me plus went back and got me 3 more cheddary bay biscuits. I have dinner for tomorrow!
My friend L approached me today about acting in a Halloween play. Sadly, we are NOT doing the haunted house this year secondary to poor turn out last year (that's what happens when you don't advertise) and Bob Evans saying no to the cabins. Aw. The play looks like fun BUT I have a) a class to craft which is brand new b) fix two flawed classes c) wales research d) biochemical research e) my own writing. If it wasn't for the class, I'd say yes (but honestly I think that sooner or later they're going to have to give up. after the theatre kicked us out there's been no permanent venue and that's hurting everything). I might do a non-speaking ghost or something that only has to show up to a couple rehersals or something but I can't spread myself that thin. How sad.
Photo of the day (I think I'll be passing on September's list. need a break) 'down'

Okay I cheated a little. I was busy not finding a couch. This is from the Wales trip. Looking down on the town from Castle Harlech
