Boom

there went my head. I was awoken an hour or so before my alarm by a migraine on top of the sinus/fever issues.I really didn't want to go to work but you know I did. DId nearly throw up mind you. The nausea is now back.

I have been so excited. Fall is coming. It's getting darker earlier. I see golden rod, asters and joe-pye weed growing in the fields. Summer came too early, damaged too much and I was HOPING it would leave early too but NO. To add to the misery of the day it was in the 90's and it's so humid my carpet feels like it did down in FL (i.e. soggy and disgusting)

I accomplished nothing today. I was moving so slow snails looked like warp speed. Maybe I'll get something done tonight. Did I mention I DID send out my holiday story? If nothing else, I'll get another shot with another publisher since this one will reject me before the deadline rolls around for the other (provided they do though I have a lousy track record with the holiday stories).

I almost came home and went to sleep but just sitting down helped. caught up on a few Lost Girls. I have to say I'm watching this for everyone but Bo. She's kinda too stupid to be so important...

I don't really want to read anything on politics pretty much ever again but I did see thru the skimming of LJ and FB an article from Fox News bashing the living shit out of Paul Ryan's pack of lies. When Fox News is calling this republican ticket the gold medalist of liars you know it's bad (or the news article is faked...) but i don't feel like linking it because it would be in my lj dirtying it up.

I am a long time collector of cards. I have some from the 70's (planet of the apes tv show, star wars), comic books (especially love my Sandman cards with the chase set) and anime. I have playing cards too. I know i have two Saiyuki playing card sets but I'll be damned if I can find them. I KNOW one is just lying around I can describe it but I can't find it.
