In fits and spurts
Nov. 10th, 2013 12:08 amThat's how this day went. I'm busy with getting tests made but man that takes time and dulls you out. I also got all the edits (except for the one to add in a scene) done in the novella and I planned to do the novel tonight and...I sat down at 9 and it's suddenly nearly midnight and I've done nothing. Huh. I don't even know what time warp I fell into.
I wish I could do the editing on my netbook but the open office and the tiny screen make it impossible (well difficult and unpleasant) at least I know I would have no internet distractions. I should just turn it off here but I'm weak.
I still haven't even looked at my edits. I've wasted a day and a half and I MUST do it tomorrow because I know I have to add in at least two scenes. Damn it's hard to do that if your brain says the story is 'done.'
I did get some writing on nano and bigbang at the library while the landry washed. I forgot my laundry soap. Sigh.
I also just finished a book that made me cry. On the other hand, I've wasted a lot of time on a book that is like pulling teeth to read but I paid money for it...
declutter day 170 item tossed- Black ‘converter’ pants why kept-Wore a few times why tossed -Interesting idea, bad execution. If you tried to convert them to Bermuda shorts the legs sagged down. If you wore them down, they ruched up.

“Probably easier to control,” Reanna said.
“More likely tenderer and moist,” Placid said. He flushed as he realized what had tumbled out of his mouth and at his companions’ horrified looks. “Sorry, but I was raised in the country. There is a difference between calf, kid and lamb compared to beef, goat and mutton. It just stands to reason it might be the same with humans, at least in this guy’s eyes.”
“It must be hell inside that head of yours.” Killingsworth made a face.
