Okay my writerly ways is limited to Editing Sucks.

There, that's the wisdom for the day. I did get the easy edits on the novella done but god, I do not know when I'm getting time to reread 90 pages by the end of next week.

I wanted to wish marlex a happy birthday and belated one to apgeeksout Hope you had good days.



I really wish I could figure out something for the black cat. She's very sad. She wants in. I can't have her in. As soon as it started snowing, she started crying, the poor thing. I hate being here some times since there is almost no shelters.

I'm sad

It's been such a monday monday. My students told me how much my superhero homework helped them...but they all failed the exam but one. Yes they had another exam today too but that one got pushed because they were SO BAD on the quiz in organic chemistry. I'm despairing of how to make them understand the importance of these classes.

And then one of them had to meet with me on the directed study research she's supposed to be doing. When I asked her to my office she said 'oh this is about that dumb directed study?' Blink...you just failed one exam and did you REALLY just call my research dumb? SERIOUSLY? You can say that on your blog but you can not say it to the professor's face. I didn't have to do this research. I'm BUSY. I did it because you're a senior and need it to graduate. And don't give me big eyes when you see how much work I had for you because you blew off our last two meetings. And keep in mind professors remember this on letter of rec time.

My brother is trying to put me in touch with the best shoulder guy in Pittsburgh (Helps to have someone with an in) and have I mentioned on Saturday I met my deductible for my health insurance. My 2,000$ deductible. Sucks to be this ill.

I have friends doing Music Sundays and others doing Music MOndays. I've not enough time to be organized like that but maybe I'll start sharing some of my collections on monday.

I have a connection to the all Lakota blues band, Indigenous that's 20 years in the past and I'd like to keep it there. Let's just say I used to talk to them after shows a lot in Deadwood and the like back in South Dakota. Mato Nanji, the lead singer/guitarist was pretty much a kid then but he's had a pretty damn good career since (and I have a cd collectors want SO badly, one they used to give out after shows. HA). This is from one of my favorite albums of theirs. If they're in town, go see them.
