Good to get out
Mar. 7th, 2014 12:05 amI went to Athens with my writers group. Weather and illness has kept me away for over a month. I needed to get out. I'm about to smack a bitch if I have to deal with the drama llamas at work for much longer. This is me at work:
Especially my friend L who was having a fit today. We all had to turn in some paperwork (part of our contract, detailing our service and scholarship). She was just TOO busy and stressed and I'm like a) WHY are you yelling at me b) I am completely insulted. She does this all the time. Like the 90 other profs don't do shit and she's the only one who does? I was up until 1:30 last night finishing my novella edits so I hadn't have to beg another extension. Want to talk stressed? My blood sugar should put me in the hospital. Do you hear ME bitching? I really DO get insulted when she plays like she's the only one with work to do.
And Check out my new project It's sort of a big to-do on a major m/m group. There were 200 prompts. I got one. It looks like fun and a good way to showcase my talent. If anyone wants to leap in and read this short story as we go, I'd love you. If nothing else, go look at the prompt and let me know what you think.
