So I took the cat to Athens
Mar. 8th, 2014 10:06 pmI took her to my friend MKF's house so she could pass Izumi on to the foster mom. She was so good. I've never tried to pick her up before. I got her right up and into the box without a whimper. She cried a bit but as long as I had my fingers in the box she was fine. I drove one-handed a lot. She loved all over me. MKF got her to the foster mom...who lost her outside. She hasn't gone far and she's hoping to lure her back with food. Sigh. There went my feel-good. At least it was a good try. Watch her be back here when I return from spring break.
I went crazy in Kroger's but I stand by my pink Himalayan sea salt dixie cup's worth purchase (it was only .36 cents and it's enough to last a while). The cheeses were worth while. If this were my local Kroger's I have taken the 8$ inari back. The damn rice was hard. The Saskatoon Berries were something I've wanted to eat since doing research on Native American cultures as a kid. They had them dried but I must have read the price wrong since holy hell! Sadly dried, they mostly taste like dried blueberries so it wasn't worth it. However the golden berries (an Incan treat I've wanted to try) covered with greek yogurt were delicious, sweet and tart and a tad cheaper. The sweet peppedaws were hotter than holy hell.
Did I mention that Lucky Uncle won a trip to Vegas next week. I want him to leave my aunt behind and take me. Now she's sick. Oh Uncle....
My sugar is now over 400 (that would be the berries). Sigh.I didn't think a few would hurt.
to improve my mood, here are some cute mostly naked dancing boys.
