As You Like It
Apr. 5th, 2014 12:49 amA bunch of friends and I went to see Ohio University's production of As You Like It all except L who's theatrics were almost as good as the ones on stage. Here's the weird thing, I live in podunk and see more live theatre than I do movies.
We also went to the Star of India and I got a salt lassi and bengan bartha(eggplant). It's good but I will say it's more than a tad pricey.
The play was a lot of fun. One of the OU students from my nano group went as well. I haven't seen this one staged before and while it does have one of my least favorite Shakespeare tropes (gender bending to trick a love interest) it was funny and well acted by these young performers.
I almost didn't go because I'm sleep deprived and in pain from the arthritis but I'm glad I did. I didn't get any writing done but i had a good time.
