Kanda had a big adventure
Jul. 29th, 2014 10:13 pmthe door leading out to the garage didn't fully latch when dad went out to get the tractor out. Kanda, naturally decided Hey, slightly open door, must pull it fully open.' He escaped into the wilds.
This could have been bad. We have 40 acres of land. Luckily chickenliver didn't move away from the house, trying to get into the downstairs windows and dad spotted him. We got him back in without incident.
People whine a lot about Goodreads but it's not just GR. Any place people can review, half the people are there just to lambast someone. Witness me joining Yelp and Tripadvisor to help out friends' businesses. I'm pretty sure the only people who DO review do it just to knock someone down.
Started week 2 of therapy. I'm doing good.
I sent Kept Tears in to the Rainbow Awards. Cross your fingers I didn't do anything wrong in the submission process. I don't think I have much of a chance but what did I have to lose?
