Mostly sharing information tonight
Feb. 17th, 2016 09:51 pmand my internet is hanging by a thread.
First off one of my fellow authors (who is heading up the weird west anthology and is on my list of people I really want to meet and too bad she's on the west freaking coast) shared this. One of her stories is now a Yaoi manga I have no idea what this says. It came out earlier as in a yaoi magazine and looks like its being released independantly. I'm not sure how this came about but cool. Also Kim Fielding writes some good stuff (If I were to pick anyone I write similiarly to it would be her but she fares much better than I.)
I’m taking this tour some day
I'm trying to decide what to do for a vacation since I'm not going to my anatomy con this year besides the weekend con in Raliegh to sell books. Because Raleigh NC seems boring.
Wil Wheaton put this up in response to someone asking him about depression (he is very vocal about his battles) and feeling worse because of the idea of taking meds. This is such a good response and something I need to hear at the moment (I can't take the meds. I'm allergic to nearly all anti depressants) You are not broken
And some marketing links promoting your self pubbed book and marketing
Both are from Bookbaby which is a self-pub site but these work in theory for anyone. Caveat: These tips are ones I ALWAYS here. They're the ones I've DONE and so far every author I personally know say they don't do shit. (even Chuck Wendig has a grim opinion of these nuggets judging by recent posts).
My knee is healed and the scab is off and none too soon because the tape allergy was killing me. It's still sore but it's closed up. Also I can get off the floor much easier now. PT is working! ( Look at my cool scar )
And once again got yelled at for saying I didn't feel well on FB. That's right family, keep fault finding.
