I spoke too soon

First off, let me say I am grateful for having all of you in my life and I do notice when you go quiet. My friends DOES in fact have multiple myeloma (it's a bone marrow cancer). This is the double edge sword of online access to our medical records: not everyone knows how to read them. The blood work was 'normal.' But the test for M protein wasn't in yet and if it was, it's doubtful the average person would know what it is. So fuck you too, 2016. And this is on top of us losing a student/girl's basketball coach two weeks ago (car accident, I didn't know her but the school mourned hard).

Sigh. Hopefully her back breaking is a silver lining in all of this and it was the head's up to get her chemo etc in time to save her life.

At least Mom seems okay tonight but dad was being a dick about her calling me. She calls every night so I know where they are in their trip but man he was not abut to let her talk to me tonight (i.e. the first night they weren't staying with friends/family)

I think I'm seriously going to look into taking as big a trip as I can this year. I've lost too many people this year already and it's not even March. I'm feeling my mortality.

And since I was sad I looked at Cracked.com and found some winners. WTF comic book origins of Superman & Batman. Worth it just for the Superman/Batman cruise
