Trivia night

L wanted me to go to trivia tonight and since she asked me before the writers group set their meeting time I went. The money benefits the French Art Colony. It was in the Colony Club where I've not been before. It's an old movie theater that's been reclaimed, yes there are still theater seats(nice ones, very comfortable) and a screen. But there is also a bar and small restaurant area. I opted for a personal pizza which is always such a crap shoot but man was this one good. I was really surprised. I loved it.

The trivia was fun (though I still say we got cheated on one of them, and tell me where we ever saw Charlie Brown's Dad and knew what he did for a living). We came in second. They're having a roaring 20s party in March. I'd like to do that.

I won a door prize, second one to do so but man it was bad. I didn't take the bags of hair products. I should have. I took the one from the bank but the gift WAS the bag. Oh boy. It's a nice one but still.

One member of my team was a young mother who brought her 2 week old with her. I don't know her (L's acted with her for several years) and she passed that baby around to everyone. He was good but I really wanted to tell her you shouldn't do that with newborns, their immune system isn't intact yet.

I came home and met Lance. He was simply adorable and ever so happy to meet me. He's the 4 month old Golden the new neighbor (not the one who'll share my wall, apparently the last people DESTROYED the place. My Landlord can't rent it. He's been working a week on it so far). I didn't get Lance's Dad's name. He has two small kids though. I haven't seen his wife yet (provided there is one).

Kanda wasn't happy I was gone all day.
