2017 still has its teeth in me
Dec. 31st, 2017 12:48 pmI needed to get my meds today to get them under my fulfilled deductible which of course resets at midnight. All I was trying to do was call CVS to put it through and get it later in the week. They wouldn't pick up the phone. Now, I didn't say one word about it other than to explain to dad what I was doing because if they didn't put it thru it would be about 300$. After lunch he stomps outside, sick, bitching to go plow the very long, straight down a hill driveway. I can't help because I have hair dye on my head (and he knew this). He comes back in an hour later yapping how sick he is and how much the cold hurts and he's moving with or without mom and now I can stop whining and go. Even mom's like 'she didn't say anything.'
So since it IS done, I decided to go and I'm not down the driveway when my windshield wiper falls off. I try to put it back on but the plastic is broken. Sigh. Got the meds but not the 50% off Xmas cards (because CVS was selling 8 packs for 17$, um no.) and then went to Advanced Auto and he took one look at mom's pink tousel hat (borrowed so I wouldnt have to fix the freshly dyed hair) and told me the cheaper bosch (still good) wipers were sold out when I'm pretty damned sure they weren't. Ah well. Another 50$ down.
And in good news, the snowflake challenge goes live tomorrow. It's fannish and fun so join me in it if you'd like.

and though the read more women challenge doesn't seem to be going but I'm still going to keep track as women are still underrepresented as authors.
