I love Costco

It's probably a good thing I don't have one near me or I'd be broke. Bought so much stuff on Mom's card today I had to go because that's where I got my tires and the assholes at Nourse Honda in Chillicothe rotated my tires but did NOT balance them so the steering wheel shimmied. Costco balances for free (If I knew that I would have just done that).

We went from there to Macy's where I found two sets of shoes on their last act and got them both for under 40$. C3PO and R2D2 boat shoes and floral velvet combat boots which will be great for my steampunk cosplay. I was super happy with them...until I got home.

Dad of course wants to know what I got and at first he liked them. Later in the evening he saw me taking pictures because I thought you all might like to see them and started mocking me and berating me for posting too much because my uncle and my cousin complain to him about it. Okay this is NOT the first time I've heard this. How about this, if it bothers you a) tell me b) fuck off my feed. Quit going behind my back. And then told me I was too old for those shoes.

This is not the first time he's ruined something I liked. I bought two beautiful outfits several years ago and he told me one looked like a rag and the other like a clown (I know I've mentioned this before). Even all these years later, that's all I hear in my head even though I've had many compliments on these items, all I hear is the mocking. (And I'm reading a fascinating book that explains in neuroscience talk WHY bad memories stay with you when the good don't).

Over the course of the evening (and yesterday) he's asked questions then argued when he didn't like the answers. Head desk.
