I'm anxious as hell and depressed about this election so far. On the plus side my internet is 98% dead so I can't get more breaking news about how many people have voted for a woman hating racist and his monstrous VP choice.

I wanted to share a picture of me as I voted wearing Grandma Joan's necklace and Grandma Santy's pin and ring (all my shots with the ring are blurred) and either Grandma's rhinestone earrings or Aunt Loretta's. Tucked on shelves carved into the rock were clay pots bearing remains. Some even had jewelry, weapons and tools, the latter two in miniature, resting next to the pots in honor of the dead. None of them showed signs of having been disturbed. A brownish stain discolored the stone near the pole. She suspected it was Camristy's blood.

When they said at 10 a.m. - before everyone could possibly have voted in IN - that IN had voted for Trump, I was not shocked, except in that they decided at 10 a.m. that Trump won the state.

Health wise, shitty, that describes it.

But it's nice to hear from you. I was just telling my class last week I was worried about my friend with Chron's (as that was the topic in pathophys that day) as I hadn't heard from you in a while (and I'm not sure if I told you my brother's ulcerative colitis was actually chron's like the rest of the family is, which makes sense in light of the fact we just learned we're basically a quarter Jewish and there is a strong genetic prediliction for the disease in that population).

Exhausted. I likely have an adrenal dysfunction, but the best test (saliva) is not one doctors are willing to do, since the FDA doesn't like it.

I know, right? A couple years back we found that my great grandparents came over on a ship that was listed entirely as Hebrew passengers and we thought that odd so started digging. We didn't know he had been Jewish. We have no idea if he married a Catholic woman and converted or converted out of persecution and fear or a little of both.

My brother, a hard core republican isn't speaking to me at the moment when I pointed out how racist and misogynistic Trump (and worse Pence is, frankly I don't want anything to happen to Trump because Pence is far more evil). and now he's mad that I called him a racist (No, I said trump is...)

and my neighbors threatened us if we didn't vote trump. I hate where I live so much right now.
