Nearly ended up in the hospital twice today

I didn't go to the big faculty meeting because I had to give an examine to the track team members but since someone leaked the vote of no confidence thing to the press, our president emailed the details to the students in case they had questions (as if they would read a paper). OMG

I could have gone to part of the meeting but I was so dizzy I came home. Thank god. My sugar was nearly 400. I could have gone to the hospital then but I drove it down with insulin (and new people here, don't worry I'm a medical doctor who used to specialize in diabetic wound care before I was injured and turned professor. I would not suggest others follow this path because it's risky). Naturally my sugar then collapsed and I had to eat something to bring it back up.

The second incidence was when Kanda suddenly freaked out and bite and scratched me (I'm hoping his bad teeth are causing these attacks and he's not suddenly going the way his brother did, reverting to feral). The scratch was right over the large varicose vein in my leg. Any deeper it would have nicked that and it would have bled non-stop.

In better news my Aunt L called the parentals and she's doing well. She'll be 100 this August. Hope she makes it.

Speaking of 100 year old women, Joanne is trying to take over my story damn her.

I did get the DYI Christmas story edited on paper. Now to do it in the file.
